In a small village tucked away in the heart of Ghana, young Star-King Osei
Afriyie was known for his boundless curiosity and wild imagination. With
tousled hair and an ever-present grin, he roamed the bustling market, where
colourful stalls overflowed with vibrant fruits, beaded jewellery, and most
importantly—beautiful Kente cloths.
One sunny afternoon, while exploring the market, Star-King Osei Afriyie
accidentally knocked over a basket filled with glimmering beads. As he
scrambled to pick them up, he stumbled across an ancient-looking Kente cloth
draped over a nearby stall. Curious as ever, he took a closer look and decided to
try it on. The moment the fabric touched his skin, something magical happened!
With a dazzling flash of colours swirling around him, Star-King Osei Afriyie
found himself transformed into different animals each time he waved his hands.
“I am an elephant! No wait—now I am a mischievous monkey!” He giggled as
he tumbled around in fitful joy; however, he quickly realised that every time he
turned into an animal, chaos ensued in the village!
When Star-King Osei Afriyie became a goat during lunch hour at Mama Efua’s
food stall—the locals were far from pleased when their spicy jollof rice was
disrupted by an unexpected bleat! Then there was the time Star-King Osei
Afriyie transformed into a parrot mid-story at school; his teachers were more
amused than annoyed when they caught him mimicking their voices.
